Participant Benefits

Expenses will be paid for conference sessions, meals, lodging and materials. A travel stipend will be provided

Participant Responsibilities
-
Complete all pre-conference readings.

Attend and actively engage in all sessions.

Return to school and share curriculum/lessons with students.

Return to district and share curriculum/lessons with teachers.

After the conference, demonstrate how lesson plans and materials have been used in the classroom.

Make a commitment to return to Gettysburg with your class for a field trip during the 2012/2013 school year, utilizing skills and lesson plans from previous workshop. (Field trip funding will be available.)

Commit to nominating two outstanding students to apply for the Gettysburg Leadership Camp. (3-day immersion and experiential leadership camp to be held the summer of 2013 at Gettysburg College; scholarships available)
