At Gettysburg, events to commemorate the Battle of Gettysburg take place year round. When planning a trip to Gettysburg, make your first stop at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center Here you can pick up schedules and information for a variety of ranger-led programs through the National Park Service. These programs are offered during the summer, fall and spring, and several run daily.
Additional information on events taking place in the town of Gettysburg and elsewhere in Adams County can be obtained from the Gettysburg Convention & Visitors Bureau at the Information Desk inside the Museum and Visitor Center or online at www.gettysburg.travel.

In cooperation with Gettysburg National Military Park, the Gettysburg Foundation sponsored a satellite broadcast targeted for the school classroom, "Big Deal at Gettysburg: The Value of Historic Places." The DVD of the program is now available for purchase through the Museum Bookstore at 717-334-2288.
