HELP US PRESERVE GETTYSBURGEach year, the Gettysburg Foundation hosts the annual March for Gettysburg, an annual fundraising walk to raise money for battlefield preservation projects at Gettysburg National Military Park. The 2010 March for Gettysburg will focus on rehabilitation of Ziegler's Grove. Come out on Sunday, April 25, 2010, and learn more about the area that was the focal point of Pickett's Charge, the climactic struggle of three days of battle. It was here that Union troops prevailed, the Battle of Gettysburg was won and the course of American history was changed forever. The march is open to the public and it's easy to participate. Just download the marcher's sponsor form (click on the link at the top of the page) and bring it with you to registration.Registration will begin at 10 a.m. at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center, 1195 Baltimore Pike. The first tour group will leave at 10:30 a.m. and every 20 minutes after that with the last group leaving at 11:30 a.m. Can't join us for the March for Gettysburg?
